USA-Based Athletes Update

More updates on Papua New Guinean USA-based athletes:

PNG Athletes Peniel Richard, Rellie Kaputin, Adrine Monagi, Poro Gahekave, Afure Adah and Wesley Logorava are in great form, now that the Outdoor season in the States is underway.

Richard and Kaputin have made significant jumps last week in Texas, recording 7.57m and 6.41m respectively.

Despite being over their national marks, both performances were wind assisted.

Meanwhile, Monagi maintains her fit form with the completion of six track events, and two field events in a day.

Clocking in 13.82 seconds for the 100m hurdles; 11.92 for the 100m; and a personal best shot put of 11.34m. A performance that raised eyebrows.

Still making steady strides, Gahekave completed the 3000m steeplechase in an excellent time of 11 minutes and 49 seconds.

Adah clocked in 11.74 seconds in the 100m while Logorava recorded 10.61 seconds and 21.36 seconds in the 100m and 200m respectively.

All those performances were wind-assisted.
