Danish Adventurer & Papua New Guinean Companions Stranded in Indonesia Due to Lack of Funds

An attempt by a Danish adventurer and his two Papua New Guinean companions to circumnavigate the island of New Guinea in a traditional canoe has been hit by a funding delay.

Thor Jensen sent a Facebook video appeal from Fakfak, on the West Papuan coast, calling on their sponsor, the Sandaun Provincial government to pay the much needed funds.

Jensen and his Milne Bay companions, Sanakoli and Justin John have been waiting for five months in Indonesia.
