In Lae, a man, in his early 20s, was killed in a brawl at West Taraka late last night.
Two more have been hospitalised suffering knife wounds to their thighs, and two houses burnt down at around 6am this morning.
Lae Police were able to quell the situation by 9am, and then arrested the man who had instigated the fight.
The drunken melee started from a domestic argument between a couple.
