New Zealand, with its long-standing relationship with the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, has raised its hands to support the Bougainville Referendum Commission.
New Zealand’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Murray McCully, told EMTV News they will make some solid commitments to support Bougainville and prepare it for referendum, come June 15, 2019.
