Cricket PNG has just announced a four-man national selector’s panel for this year.
Former Hebou PNG Barramundis Captain, Navu Maha; Barramundis Head Coach, Dipak Patel; and Cricket PNG’s Taunao Vai, will be working with Chairma, Daniel Faunt to drive selections nationwide.
Vai and Patel were retained from the 2016 panel, while Maha is a new injection.
With Maha’s wealth of experience, representing the country, as well as an active figure at all of Cricket PNG’s undertakings, Chairman Faunt believes he is a positive addition to the panel.
They have already made their first major selection for this year, and will announce the Barramundis squad travelling to Australia next week for the PM’s XI (11) tomorrow.
