Police have recovered equipment used to produce homebrew as well as homemade guns and other weapons from suspects during the New Year Operation last night.
Lae Metropolitan Commander Chief Superintendent, Anthony Wagambie, told EMTV this morning, suspects of those producing the illegal substance have also been arrested.
Youth who were under the influence of homebrew and were armed with homemade guns were also apprehended.
