WABAG DDA SUPPORTS SECONDARY SCHOOL WITH K1 MILLION INFRASTRUCTURAL PROJECTS

Wabag MP Dr Lino Tom presented K1 million infrastructural development funds to Sir Tei Abal Secondary School.

Dr. Lino said Wabag District Development Authority will continue to assist the institution going forward in areas of need and concern.

He announced that K500,000 will be allocated towards the construction of a state-of-the-art science laboratory while another K500,000 will be used to construct a new, modern clinic for the students, teachers and the surrounding community to use for their basic health care needs.

Sir Tei Abal Secondary School Principal Robert Ganim has acknowledged the continuous support from the WDDA stating that these developments will enhance students learning and welfare in the years to come.

“The only science laboratory is outdated while the only school clinic was closed some years ago and this much needed funding will certainly assist in these areas of immediate need,” Ganim said.

Sir Tei Abal Secondary School was established well before independence where many prominent Engans and elites have passed out from this institution.
