West New Britain Cricket

The West New Britain Cricket Association ended its pre- season final on a high note over the weekend.

 

The tournament featured six teams in the men’s division and three teams which included Mostons and Malaburs in the women’s division.

Bee Zones took out the men’s title with a 4 wicket victory over Momase.

 

Bee Zones managed to sneak home in the second last, over with Tuksy Abraham top scoring with 13. Momase’s Christopher Henry picked up three wickets.

 

In the women’s division, Malaburs posted 5 for 25 while Mostons could only manage 7 for 20.

 

The proper season will commence this weekend.

WNB CA President Mr. Patterson Adit was excited about the season starting.

 

“The teams showed enormous spirit in the code over the weekend. Let’s keep on promoting cricket here in Kimbe, West New Britain Province” said Mr. Adit.
