The Member for Nawaeb, Kennedy Wenge will reshuffle officers serving at the district and local level government.
This process will begin in Boana LLG due to reports by the residents on misuse of administrative funds.
Wenge addressed this during the swearing in of Nawaeb District Development Authority members in Boana yesterday.
The member for Naweab District in Morobe will screen all officers serving the District, especially in Boana LLG.
This came after Wenge received reports from the general public concerning the misuse of administrative funds by the officers.
He said the officers are to serve their administrative purpose well.
MP Wenge was also sworn in as the Chairman for the DDA.
Wenge said one of his administrative tasks is to conduct an audit on the operation of the district’s administration.
The event ended with a hand over-take over ceremony between the former and current Governor for Morobe.
The ceremony was witnessed by the residents of Boana.
The former governor, Kelly Naru, who was also present appealed to the Morobe leaders to work together with the government for the good of the people of Morobe.
