WAU- WARIA COFFEE TO BE SOLD IN CHINA

Wau-Waria District in Morobe Province has secured market for Wau-Waria coffee in China and they are aiming to help more of their coffee farmers and those from neighboring Bulolo and Menyamya to also sell their coffee overseas as well . MP Marsh Narewec says they are bringing the buyer/exporter to be based at the NKW factory (formerly Moale) and will buy and process coffee at Wau.

 He says the exporter will buy coffee at K4 per kilogram parchment which is the current buying price in Lae which they are bringing to Wau. Narewec says his DDA is providing logistics to move coffee from farmers  to Wau factory only.

They are starting at Biaru and will move to Waria soon. They will then later move to Wau and do the same as well.He says farmers from Menyamya and Bulolo are welcomed to bring their coffee to Wau to sell also.
