Athletes leave for USA

Pacific Games Gold Medalist of the 4×100 metre relay, Wesley Logorava and Decathlon Gold medalist, Robson Yinambe have left for the United States this afternoon.

The two will be undergoing intensive athletics training while attending a community college in Kansas.

Logorava, and Yinambe were part of a small group that has been training in Lae for the past twelve months with the assistance of Athletics PNG.

This is one strategy that is currently being implemented by APNG to better athletes as there were other athletes who have gone overseas for such programs.
