Toea bags gold in 100 metres senior women’s final

Pacific Sprint Queen and PNG’s very own, Toea Wisil, did it again.

She bagged gold last night in the 100 metres senior women’s final of the 2017 Oceania Athletics Championships in Fiji.

The 29-year-old clocked in 11.63 seconds ahead of Australia’s Jessica Peris and Morgan Gaffney.

But the high-achieving Sprint Queen was disappointed with her timing as her personal best is 11.29.

Her training for upcoming events will continue as soon as she returns to Australia.
