Sports Scene – Episode 37, 2019

In this episode, Sport Scene explores a new concept in the sport of Softball. It’s called Money ball. It was introduced and played in PNG for the first time at the Bisini Softball diamonds in Port Moresby over the weekend by the Port Moresby Giants club.

President of the Surfing Association of PNG, Andrew Abel also joins us in studio to discuss some important areas the sport is tapping into, some of its challenges and what’s coming up in the next few months.

In fact, the president shares as well some insight into the National Selections happening this weekend as well here in the Capital over at Taurama.

We also take a look at the 2019 Rugby World Cup Knock outs stage results and who is advancing to the quarter finals.

2 of those matches were cancelled due to Typhoon Hagibis currently hovering Japan. It is by far the worst storm for Japan in decades.

Those stories and lots more in this episode.
