South Pacific Brewery has reaffirmed its commitment of K75,000 to support the work of Businesses for Health (B4H) PNG to support their drive to promote health within the private sector over the next three years.
The cheque was officially presented on Thursday March 26, 2026 by South Pacific Brewery (SP Brewery) Corporate Affairs Manager, John Nilkare, at the SP Brewery head Office in Port Moresby.
Nilkare said the company is delighted to continue supporting B4H PNG and to help strengthen workplace health practices across the country. “We understand that tuberculosis, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections are significant health concerns in Papua New Guinea. As a company committed to the health and well-being of employees and all Papua New Guineans, we are proud to support such a worthy cause,” Nilkare said.
In highlighting the terms for this partnership, he said, “through this collaboration, designated SP Brewery TB Wardens will attend trainings facilitated by B4H, conduct in employees and display B4H ’ house awareness sessions for TB and HIV awareness messages on all SPB digital billboards across Port Moresby.” Receiving the donationB4H PNG Project Manager, Dr. Clarke, expressed gratitude for SP Brewery’s ongoing support.
“We thank SP Brewery for their leadership and commitment to enable Businesses for Health PNG to deliver effective workplace training. Their support for all the promotions we do, helps B4H get “End TB” messages out.” “Our messages protect workers and families.
