SIMBU KUNDIAWA COLLEGE OF NURSING GRADUATES 76  

Kundiawa college of Nursing in Simbu Province held its graduation successfully last week, under the theme- let’s face our future with hope.

A total of 76 Nursing college students graduated with flying coulors after the completion of three years general nursing diploma program.

Simbu Provincial Administrator John Punde when congratulating graduating students acknowledged parents and sponsors for providing comfort and essential needs for their children as the day marked the celebrations of commitment, dedication and investment.

Punde said previously Simbu had a total of 290 public servants’ and they created another 250 plus positions that can provide an opportunity for new graduands.

He urged the graduating students to be role models and be the agents of change.

“We have to change ourselves; we have to change our mindsets so that we move with the change,” he said.

Punde said whatever they gained through three years in college must be effective in their capabilities whenever they serve the people in both urban or rural communities.

“You all are professionals and I hope whatever vested in our capabilities and capacities will help people and communities that we care for,” Punde said.

He urged all stakeholders to collectively work together with the college governing council and administration to ensure the college standard and the quality of the programs are up to standard.

Punde also thanked the enduga tribe within the vicinity of the college for looking after students, lecturers and college facilities.
