Football Nursery program for his District last night at the Sir John Guise Stadium. He has introduced the concept as a pilot project in his area.
Wesley Raminai is an avid football follower, this has opted him to use football as a pilot project before introducing other sports.
He said this will be a project that will be driven using his DSIP funds and not from the Sports Ministry. Depending on the success of the project, Raminai says the program can be introduced to other parts of the country.
The project is also an inclusive program which can help develop children’s characteristics help in their positive response to school and other activities. Peta Limited will be leading the training in the District, teaching Children the basic skills of football.
Peta Limited Operations Manager Taku Nieabo says they are happy to be part of the pilot project in the Kagua Erave District.
Peta Limited will start the trainers program on the 12th of February, where 2 teachers from different schools in the district, will undergo training.
