Public Services Commission Launches 5 Year (2019 – 2023) Corporate Plan

The Public Services Commission launched their 5-year corporate plan on Friday, compared to the last plan, this one is a more refined document including 5 specific projects.

National Commissioner, Apeo Fuata Sione, said this new plan is realistic and can be achieved within the next 5 years.

During the life of the newly-launched 5-year corporate plan, the Public Service Commission will experience a major reform to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery to improve the quality of life of all citizens.

The Commission’s hope is to further establish regional offices to ensure that the services delivery can be easily accessed in other regional centers around the nation.

Although many challenges have been faced in regards to the previous plan, five specific projects have been identified and will be implemented under Corporate Outcome 3 in this new plan.

Commissioner Sione commended all the staff and members of the commission for their hard work in piecing the refined document together.

He believes that the plan will provide the Commission in the right direction to provide more effective public service to the people of this nation.
