President Roy Mulina on Elite Netball Insight

Following the launch of the 2017 Port Moresby Netball season, President Roy Mulina said that the new drafting system put in place for the premier and the U21 division is expected to create an elite level of competition for the association’s top players.

He added that PNG Netball scouts will have an available pool of top players to pick from.

The simple drafting system will see points awarded to individuals based on their representative qualifications.

With the points given, aggregate totals are matched up, and they eventually compete in the Super series during the off season.

This is so they play equally on the same level, which will definitely bring tough competition.
