POM State Of Origin Fever

Fans and supporters in Port Moresby going frenzy, ready to celebrate the win of their beloved team.

Youngsters walked the streets selling State of Origin merchandise while motorists make it obvious of their team with the flags.

 

It is on again with state of Origin Fever in Port Moresby as motorists decorated their vehicles with their team flag, while the kids took an opportunity to score few kinas with the teams’ merchandise.

 

The  city looks busy as usual but game time draws near, counting down to the first Game of the State of Origin series, and already people are putting mark on which team to win the first game. 

 

Blues are betting on rookie their halves in the likes of Trent Hodkinson and Josh Reynolds to go up against Queensland’s crack test halves Jonathon Thurston and Cooper Cronk. But Papua New Guineans really know where to place the hook.

 

Team Kumul director and Maroons coach Mal Meninga, are bidding for their ninth straight origin series triumph as Blues look for their first series win since 2005.
