Police in Port Moresby have apprehended two suspects alledgedly involved in the killing of a nine-year-old Eastern Highlands girl in Port Moresby.
The suspects are brothers, picked up yesterday at their home at the ATS compound. It is alleged that the two men from Milne Bay hit the nine-year-old with a stone on Friday, resulting in her suffering a fraction to her skull.
She was rushed to the Port Moresby General Hospital but died yesterday. EM TV News has confirmed both suspects are now at the Boroko cell awaiting proper charges. They will be charged for manslaughter.
In another incident, police are investigating the death of a man who died at the Port Moresby General Hospital yesterday. The decreased Vincent Mias left his Hohola home in his vehicle at 1:00 yesterday afternoon and never returned.
He was sighted crawling towards the St John’s Clinic at Gordons by police officers and was rushed to St John Clinic at Gerehu. He was later transferred to the Port Moresby General Hospital and passed away at the accidents and emergency ward.
