Papua New Guinea will be showcasing its unique artifacts during the International Arts and Culture Exhibition in Germany in May next year.

German Coordinator for Arts and Culture Dr. Marion Clark said this is an avenue to promote and create a market for PNG’s artifacts. She announced this yesterday at the National Museum and Arts Gallery.

The DEUTSCH program will pave way for PNG artefacts to be recognized globally.
Struck says artists make unseen world seen through different artistic works like painting, traditional songs, drama, sculpture design and many others.

And through artefacts display she believes people will foretell future by way of visualization to connect with nature.

However, since PNG government was at stake in creating local markets to showcase our PNG artefacts.

The DEUTSCH program provides an opportunity for our local artists to showcase some of our arts and culture overseas.

A unique clay kundu from the Markham area in Morobe Province stole the show. It is one of many unique PNG artefacts showcased during the exhibition.
