Parties Align Signaling Stand Behind ‘Take PNG Back’

In a move that is being seen as one to fostering unity in Enga Province to drive development, United Party, a one-member party headed by Rimbink Pato, yesterday announced its decision to align with Peoples Party.

Peoples’ Party leader, Dr Willaim Tongamp, welcomed United Party Member, Rimbink Pato, saying the former Foreign Affairs Minister brings with him a wealth of cabinet experience which will be good for Enga Province.

United Party leader, Rimbink Pato, says this is the result of cordial discussions with Enga Governor, Sir Peter Ipatas, that alignment of parties will foster the unity essential for living conditions in Enga to improve the economy.

Pato said in the spirit of corporation, the alignment signals their stand behind the Prime Minister in his move to ‘take PNG back’.
Governor Sir Peter said this commitment now puts a big expectation from the people of Enga to achieve and more so for the current Government.
