Parkop: One City Vision to be fully Implemented in 2018

NCD Governor, Powes Parkop says come 2018; Port Moresby’s one city vision will be fully implemented.

This is to close gaps of suburbs, settlements and villages.

Governor Parkop outlined this in his New Year message.

He also called on city residents to celebrate the New Year peacefully.

2017 was the year of election.

The NCD Governor is determined to continue improve the image of Port Moresby as Papua New Guinea’s capital and as city of choice.

The One City Vision is Port Moresby’s development agenda for the next five years.

With the upcoming 2018 APEC leaders’ summit, Governor Parkop is adamant of the much benefits this world event will bring.

And he called on city residents to take ownership in a more proactive approach.

Some of these issues include domestic violence.

In the meantime, the NCD Governor has called on city residents for a trouble-free New Year.
