Philip Amira has been appointed as the new Project Manager of the Oil Palm Industry Corporation (OPIC) office in Popondetta, Oro Province.
The handover ceremony has marked the transition of responsibility from Philip Krai.
Krai, had been serving as Project Manager for the past nine months, reflected on the progress made during his tenure and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the development of the oil palm industry in Oro Province.
“It has been a rewarding experience working alongside a dedicated team to enhance the growth of Oil Palm Production in Oro. I am confident that the new Project Manager will continue to build upon the foundation we’ve established,” Krai said.

Amira, the newly appointed project manager, thanked the team for their support and commitment to OPIC’s goals.
“It is an honor to take on this role, and I look forward to working with everyone to further develop and promote the oil palm industry in Popondetta,” Amira stated.
Amira will work closely with staff, stakeholders, and oil palm farmers to oversee various projects aimed at improving agricultural practices and boosting the local economy in Oro Province.
