NAZARENE TEACHERS’ DUAL CELEBRATION
The Melanesian Nazarene Teachers College in Jiwaka held a dual celebration with the opening of new classrooms and receival of a new vehicle.
The recent opening of the four in one classroom and the presentation of the new vehicle to the school principal coincided with the dedication and commission service of the teaching faculty and staff of the Melanesia Bible College.
Principal of the Melanesian Nazarene Teachers college Michael Maimel thanked the governing council of the college for purchasing the vehicle for him.
He said the four in one classroom has boosted the image of the college and also ensured ease of overcrowding faced by students.
Maimel said the students had already used the two classrooms on the ground floor last week.
“There are 45 students in one classroom. A total of 90 students are now using these two classrooms,” he said.
Meanwhile he urged the teachers and students of both the Teacher’s College and the Bible College to put God first to achieve greater results.
“This dedication event marks that we are putting everything into the hands of God. Thus, let God rule and reign over everything that we will be doing,” he said.
