The Late Moses Tau’s Life Celebrated in a Final Show Leading Up to a Sunset Burial

The Late Moses Tau’s life was celebrated for the last time today (May 21) leading up to a sunset burial this evening. Musicians and other prominent figures including Central Governor Robert Agarobe joined his family during the day to pay their final respects.

Renowned musicians including Makali, Taita Maraga, Lista Laka, Noel Asi, Moqai and Elena Morea, performed a few of Moses’ songs.

Speaking as a guest of honout today, Central Province Governor Robert Agarobe said Moses was more than a singer; he had the fortitude of a model citizen.

Also paying their respects was senior statesman Sir Dadi Toka and his son, CEO of the Cancer foundation Dadi Toka Jnr, The family of Sir Michael Somare, former Rigo Open MP Ano Pala and contender for the Moresby North-west open in the last elections Lohia Boe Samuel.

The Late Moses ‘Moshanty’ Tau will be laid to rest in Barakau Village in what is said to be a spectacular sunset burial.
