At least 57 professional international golfers have registered to take part in this year’s Morobe Open from the 24th to the 30th of this month.
The competition commences on the 26th with an event involving 50 golfers from Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
The main competition on Thursday will be a full day event.
The tournament is one of the biggest golf competitions in Lae.
Last year’s winner, Damien Jordan is also coming back to defend his title.
A total prize money of K180,000 is up for grabs.
