PNG LNG Kumuls Coach, Michael Marum, has made one change to the starting line up ahead of this weekend’s clash against the Irish. He has placed Kurt Baptiste in the starting hooker position.
Stargroth Amean has been named as the 16th man on Marum’s extended 21-man bench. Moses Meninga and Nixon Putt have also been named in the team.
Those are the only changes in an otherwise unchanged line-up from last weekend’s clash against the Welsh.
Rod Griffin still remains out of the team after suffering a knee injury before their opening match.
James Segeyaro will come off the bench while Wartovo Puara has been named as player number 21.
Marum will finalise his 18-man squad on Friday.
The Irish have also stuck with the same team for this weekend’s match.
After Ireland’s win over Italy they afforded plenty of respect over the remainder of their tournament.
The gritty Irish team would be difficult to beat after their stellar performance in round 1 of the Rugby League World Cup.
