The Manters are the cup champions of the 2018 Sports Tok, Port Moresby Easter Rugby Sevens Tournament.

In a nail-biting finals encounter, the Manters finished strong with four tries over the Central Coast, claiming the Cup and a cash prize of K5000.

In other final play offs yesterday, the PNG Pukpuks Sevens Academy Team ran over the Juggernauts in a comfortable win, 28 points to nil to claim the Bowl and a K1500 prize money.

While the PNG Pukpuks Development Squad held off a determined Black Orchids team, 19 points to 7, they took home the plate trophy and a prize of K2500.

Former PNG Pukpuks Fly-Half, Paul Joseph, commended every team that took part in the 2-day tournament and made special mention to the tournament’s main sponsor, Sports Tok, for supporting the code of Rugby Sevens.
