The plan was drafted by the Oil Search Limited External Affairs Department, upon request by Kutubu leaders.

Before handing over the 5 year plan to Kutubu LLG President John Pipi Kila, Executive General Manager for Oil Search, Gerea Aopi, said the LLG will receive direct funding as grants from the project, and a plan is the way forward for the people.

”Oil Search is pleased to assist by providing capacity and monitoring of the plan in a consistent manner”, added Mr Aopi.

Kutubu LLG President John Pipi Kila was delighted to receive the plan and thanked the Oil Search team for their efforts in lighting Kutubu’s pathway to see tangible developments.

The plan consists of 7 major priorities, Primary and Elementary Education, Rural Health, Rural Transport, Agriculture, Community Law and Order, Community Development and LLG Administration.

The plan will be used as a road map to deliver impact projects to sustain and improve lives of communities in the Kutubu LLG.
