Governor’s Easter Cup

The NCD Governor’s Cup is down to 15 teams after the initial 32 teams that were listed on Friday.

Finals will be played tomorrow at the Kone Tigers Oval with six teams vying for the Plate, Bowl and Cup.

Yet another exciting day for the teams on the long Easter weekend tournament. With great forecast in the sky, fans, friends and family came along to cheer for their supporting teams.

Fifteen teams went head to head under the heat of Port Moresby while finding their ways to get to the try line.

Meanwhile both 6 Mile Tigers and Dust steps came on field with strong defense mechanism on board as per techniques used by both teams, this even made it harder for them to enter the try lines. Unfortunately the teams had a draw against each other nil all at full time.

Even for some of the spectators, today was just the perfect way to spend this Easter with friends, Partners and family by coming together to watch the footy, have fun and celebrate Easter.

There were only 3 forfeits out of the 15 teams participating for the Governor’s Easter Cup.
