General Electric Appoints New CEO for New Zealand and Papua New Guinea

Kevin Hart has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of General Electric (GE) Papua New Guinea and GE New Zealand – taking on the role from the Late Peter Loko, who was instrumental in developing GE’s presence in Papua New Guinea.

Hart previously held the role of Country Leader in New Zealand.

GE announced yesterday that Hart will now expand his role to oversee GE’s businesses in New Zealand as well as Papua New Guinea, with a focus on supporting the growth and development of the country’s infrastructure.

Hart said he is pleased to expand his role to include Papua New Guinea, a region with immense opportunity for growth, especially in the areas of driving growth and infrastructure investment.

GE has made a long-term commitment to Papua New Guinea, and Hart is delighted to lead GE’s in the near future.
