Gender Based Violence Documentary Film

In addressing the elimination of gender based violence, the PNG Tribal Foundation has announced the launch of a documentary film this Saturday 8th March, on International Women’s Day.

PNG Tribal Foundation with Global Virtual Studio and Porgera Remediation Framework Association will work together in completing this Documentary titled ‘Celebrating the Women of Papua New Guinea’.

 

It will be distributed throughout PNG, along with a call to action as part of a national campaign to address the issue in a positive way.

 

In celebration of International Women’s Day this coming Saturday, 8th March, PNG Tribal Foundation announced its partnership with Global Virtual Studio, and the Porgera Remediation Framework Association, to create a documentary film addressing gender-based violence.

 

The PNG Tribal Foundation has engaged film professionals “Global Virtual Studio” a Los Angeles and Hawai’i based film crew, as its film-making partner.

 

The documentary will focus on inviting men to become lead partners in the change in how gender violence is viewed and accepted.
