It was a hectic day at the Boroko Electoral Commission Office as more candidates complete the nomination process.
Speaking to EMTV News, Former Defense Secretary, James Melegepa, who is vying for the NCD seat, said major projects have developed but people have missed out.
With over 30 years of experience in the Public Sector, the Former Defense Secretary was escorted by a relatively small crowd to nominate.
After completing formalities at the Boroko Electoral Office, Melegepa spoke highly of people being the centre of his intention to contest.
This would be the third time the former Defense Secretary will contest.
Melegepa has no affiliation to political parties but says the City needs better policies including the upgrade of NCD Act to Organic Law Status.
Activist and Pangu Party candidate Noel Anjo also nominated for the NCD Regional seat.
But things did not work out for the Pangu Candidate who was taken to the Boroko Police Station to sort out a case allegedly for Defamation against the Electoral Commission and its officers.
Anjo was not arrested but released.
Also nominating for the NCD Regional Seat was former NCD Metropolitan Commander, Andy Bawa.
