Kina Finance today launched the Eftpos Cash Card, the first non-bank, issued card in Papua New Guinea, from their popular range of EsiLoan products.
Kina Finance, in a partnership with Westpac Banking Corporation, will use the banks mobile banking platform, to ensure access to all EFTPOS terminals, and ATMS throughout the country.
The cash card will allow EsiLoan customers, to manage their loans and finances, with the flexibility, available from the convenience of Eftpos and ATM facilities.
Powered by Westpac, and the first of its kind in Papua New Guinea, the revolutionary product will now be available to existing customers, and will be rolled out throughout their locations in Port Moresby, Lae and Kokopo.
CEO and Managing Director of Kina group of companies, Syd Yates, expressed his enthusiasm in the product.
The product, which took two to three years to develop, will provide same day and everyday approval for customers applying for an EsiLoan.
Users of the card can then check their balance, or the status of their loans by texting a specific number, and will get a response within seconds, depending on network services.
The cash card is geared to everyday Papua new Guineans to invest in their financial futures quickly, and conveniently.
