The stage is set for this weekend’s Rugby League World Cup Grand Final clash between England and Australia. Both Coaches have named unchanged line ups for Saturday’s match.
England Coach, Wayne Bennett has named second choice hooker James Roby in the starting line-up after Josh Hodgson was ruled out with a torn ACL.
This will be England’s only change to the starting line-up. Newcastle bound forward Chris Heighington has been named on the bench.
The English team went down to Australia 18 points to 4, in the opening match of the Rugby League World Cup.
They have picked out mistakes from the match and are looking forward to an interesting encounter against Australia.
The Australians have picked the same 17 which beat Fiji in the semi-final and Samoa in the quarter-final.
Australia’s only changes are number 20 and 21 with Cameron Munster and Ben Hunt named instead of Josh Mansour and James Maloney.
Australia has been outstanding throughout the whole tournament, topping their Pool and cruising through the quarter and Semi-finals.
England knows what they are going up against and are preparing well for the match.
The Men’s grand final match kicks off at 7pm at Brisbane Stadium, after the Women’s grand final clash between Australia and New Zealand.
