EFFORTS TO FIGHT AGAINST GLOBAL WARMING IN ENGA PROVINCE

Wanepap Integrated Nursery Establishment in the Lagaip District of Enga Province will start to plant trees in its efforts to fight against global warming.
Spokesperson Tony Sulupin said that the Wanepap Integrated Nursery Establishment will produce 10,000 REDD+ tree seedlings per year in their efforts to join global communities in the fight against global warming.
This REDD+ Tree Seedling Project is the second component funding provided by the European Union /United Nations Development Program under their Integrated Sustainable Landscape Management in Enga Province.
REDD+ stands for Reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries.
