Comrade Trustee Services Limited today signed an agreement to partner with Teachers Savings & Loan Society to enable its members to access TISA’s financial products. The MOU now allows around 4, 000 CTSL’s contributors, and a further 1, 000 DFRBF members, now have the option of utilising savings & loan products through TISA’s network.
In announcing the alliance in Port Moresby today, Comrade Trustee Services Limited CEO, John Auna, explained the rationale behind entering into this arrangement with TISA. More specifically, the need to enable its members to have access to short to medium term financial products, aside from their superannuation savings.
TISA Group CEO, Michael Koisen, was present for the announcement. In welcoming CTSL to the TISA family, he again reaffirmed TISA’s commitment to providing first-class service to savings & loans solutions for CTSL members.
This arrangement is the first as such for TISA, where an institution has partnered with them to provide their services throughout its seventeen branches throughout the country. And with the new Savings & Loan Act to come into effect in August, there are hopes that other institutions can also partner with TISA in providing financial products and services.
