On 20th March, Jessie Jones reported on NCD Alert page that a Chinese woman nearly got carjacked just beside the Erima overhead bridge.
She said the perpetrators ran out with homemade guns and blocked the road pointing the gun at her.
The victim reversed and sped off with two shots fired her way.
Jessie is warning the general public to take extra precaution whilst driving in the city as there is an increase in carjacking in the recent months.
The pictures were taken from the victims car dashboard camera.
An article written and published by EMTV Online reported that criminals in the City of Port Moresby now steal cars to rip off parts for quick cash, as revealed by a security officer.
It reported that the reason for stealing cars has now shifted and it is very dangerous.
