The Members of Central Agencies Co-ordination Committee (CACC) presented Christmas gifts to sick children at the Children’s Ward in Port Moresby General Hospital yesterday afternoon.
A pleasant visit by CACC Members and Chairman of CACC and Chief Secretary to the Government, Ivan Pomaleu, at the ward brought plenty of smiles to the children and their parents.
Mr Pomaleu and the team were briefed by Port Moresby General Hospital Chief Executive Officer, Dr Paki Molumi before distributing gift hampers to each child.
Dr Molumi thanked Mr Pomaleu and the members of the CACC, adding that the committee’s presence during this festive time means a lot to the children and their parents.
This is a first-ever visit by the CACC Members, which included Finance Secretary Sam Penias, NEC Secretary Grace So’on, and Chief Secretary Pomaleu.
