Bank South Pacific Limited has come on board to support the International and PNG Peace Day celebrations in Port Moresby.
The Bank presented K20,000.00 to the Gutpla Peace and Sindaun Foundation today.
The Peace Day celebrations will take place on the 21st of September.
The donation will go towards assisting the events planned for the day. Founder Watt Kiddie said, BSP has been supportive in the Peace campaign.
It has been a challenge for the organisation that operates on donations through financial assistance from stakeholders.
Mr Kiddie said, “Peace is also challenging in the country, but believes everyone can be influential in maintaining peace.
The Gutpla Peace and Sindaun Foundation have planned celebrations in the city including a parade.
The Organisation is also calling on other individuals or private organisations to assist spread the message of peace and create a better environment for all.
The International Day of Peace is observed around the world as declared by the United Nations.
