Brendon Gotuno has been named in this weekend’s SP Hunters team on the wing. Gotuno, who went for a train and trial with the Penrith Panthers, returned 2 weeks ago and has joined the SP Hunters for the season. He has returned to the SP Hunters with some experience and quality to the side.
Gotuno is happy to be back with the team, playing alongside some former teammates and friends from the Intercity Cup. With his experience, he hopes to help the team in their clash against Norths Devils this weekend.
Making his debut off the bench this weekend is Jerry Teme. Teme has been named as player number 14 in the squad. He is a utility player, who can play Dummy half, half back or five-eighth. He played most of his intercity cup matches in the half back position and will be looking forward to playing in any position Coach Marum assigns him to.
The SP PNG Hunters will take on Norths Devils on Saturday at Bishop Park in Brisbane.
