Book to Inspire Papua New Guineans

By Lillian Sopera Keneqa – EMTV News, Port Moresby

Human Development Institute’s founder, Samuel Tam, will be releasing his new book tomorrow. Written with the purpose to inspire Papua New Guineans, Mr. Tam says it is a process of the last 50 years in life in business, in interacting with people both rich and poor, calling it: ‘Be inspired’.

Known to everyone as Papa Sam, he told EMTV News that he wanted to write this book for a long time. Within the pages, he shares his experience in life over the last 50 years.

For over 20 years HDI has enjoyed close relationship with employers and professional bodies which give their students a unique balance of practical skills and real world understanding. The programs offered by HDI have helped over 35,000 Papua New Guineans create rewarding careers and lives.

Three of Papa Sam’s students who have read some parts of the book said:
“Papa Sam believes that through him, sharing his experience, it is a solution to human development, stress-related illness, poverty and unemployment.”

The book will officially be launched tomorrow with buyers having a chance to meet the author in person and get their books signed.
