PNG Rugby Gets Safer:Amaiu’s Law

Some good news for followers of Rugby League played in Papua New Guinea.

The government has moved to review laws governing the code to make it safe on and off the feild.

 

At the same time, it wants to take the game away from greedy administrators who have personalized a national sport.

 

Vice Sport Minister, Labi Amaiu, announced the move on Friday as part of the government policy to turn PNG into a sports leader in the Pacific.
