Lessons from Indonesia

PNG's Ambassador to Indonesia, Retired Commodore Peter Illau, says our laws  and banking system should be redesigned to be more favorable to  Papua New Guineans.

In an interview with EMTV, he said while Indonesia has land issues, particularly in West Papua, many of its systems serve its local companies and local interests.

He is of the view that we can learn a lot from the Indonesian development experience.
