Funding to be a priority in Agricultural Development

Funding was the main agenda in Fiji, on day 3 of the meeting of heads of agriculture and forestry in the Pacific.

An institution called the International Funds for Agricultural Development, sought direction for investment in the Pacific, particularly in regional and national agriculture priorities.

The meeting is chaired by the managing director of PNG Forest Authority Kanawi Pouru.

In an interview with EMTV News, Mr Poru said PNG needs to know more about marketing as it is critical.

“We need to keep up with the changing rules and behaviour of markets to adjust our farming to develop crops that is marketable.
