Prime Minister Peter O'Neill arrived in Kokopo, East New Britain today. Despite a few showers, O'Neill was given a chiefly welcome at Tokua Airport.
He will be attending a Joint Supervisory Body meeting, the purpose of which is to renew acquaintances and forge a new path forward towards referendum with the Autonomous Bougainville Government between 2015 and 2020. That meeting will be held tomorrow.
One of his first visits was to the Takubar Sport & Entertainment Centre, the venue of the 5th PNG Games.
