More than 2000 people turned up at a river bank to see the Morobe Governor, Kelly Naru, in person as he arrived to attend a gathering of Lutheran women from all over the country.
For many, it was their first time to see their governor in person.
Naru has been working hard to cultivate the image of himself as a servant of the people.
