Indoor Cricket Competition Enters Round Nine

The PIH Indoor Cricket Competition enters Round 9 of matches this weekend, at the Amini Park in Port Moresby.

 

While some hard runs and smart keeping have brought the mixed pool teams to cap, the most number of runs made this week, and all teams will be jostling, to secure final spots at the top of the table.

After Round 8 last weekend, Agility Dragons, Digicel, IBS, BSP, Pacific International Hospital, and NCDC, have made it to the top 6 in this year’s PIH Men’s Corporate Indoor competition.

 

Each team will be required to play 2 matches this weekend.

 

To kick off round 9 on Saturday in the ITI POMCA Pool, 4th placed Badili Hardware Wanderers, will take on the Trukai Hoods in an attempt, to climb up the ladder.

 

In the Men’s top 6, BSP will take on Air Nuigini, while PNG Ports Marlins will take on Tent Manufacturers at 2pm.

 

And on Sunday, the mixed pool will kick off the day with a Wash out   match between Nasfund Contributors, and 6th placed, Pacific Assurance Group.

 

Mixed pool round 9 matches will follow at 2:00 pm

 

The top 6 teams from the Men’s Corporate Pool will play a total of three matches next weekend, and the team with highest number of points, will be crowned as Champs.

 

All teams are expected to turn up in full gear, 30 minutes prior to their matches.
