Telikom’s Cleanit Rollout In WNB

Three schools in West New Britain will now benefit from Telikom’s Clean Internet Access.

Hoskins Secondary, Hella Primary, and Mosa Primary School are the first to have access to information which is compatible with all other Clean IT linked schools nationwide.  

 

West New Britain Governor, Sasindran Muthuvel, joined hands with Telikom Foundation to launch the project. He also made a commitment of KI million, to roll out the clean internet project to all major institutions in the Province in 2015.

 

This project is done in partnership with Telikom Foundation to enhance quality education, and ensure students are able to access first class information at the click of a button.

 

The Chief Executive Officer for Telikom Foundation, Mr. Brian Sam, and Project Manager, Mr Raymond Itana, were in the Province with their Foundation team to initiate the launch of the Clean Internet Project.

 

Mr Itana has urged the Telikom technical team, to do survey for Kimbe Secondary and Bialla Secondary, to identify their immediate need and costing for Clean Internet set up.

 

Out of the 3 Schools, Governor Muthuvel funded the Hoskins Secondary Clean Internet Project worth of K60 000 while the other two schools were funded by Telikom Foundation.
